Mommy’s first race of the season was at The Arboretum so Daddy and Son came later for a rockin’ after-party/picnic and a day at the Children’s Adventure Garden.

20K PR and a Luke’s Locker GC for coming in 1st AG. Tough race conditions, though — a sticky and warm day sandwiched by some fall-like previews. Glad to be done with this one and seeing the boys!

The highlight for him was the Water Gun Lagoon. We spent so much time in the children’s area that we barely got to browse through the Main Garden. Another time.

And we are still on a quest for library ownage! It’s been a treat to visit so many different libraries. E asks for it specifically: “I wanna go library!” Books are good for the soul. :) Many of them have enjoyable toys, games, and play areas, too. The special events and storytimes are always entertaining as well.

Then there’s the usual day-to-day wackiness we love about this little critter!

Bring on the fall fun & activities! ‘Tis truly the season in Texas… that lasts… 3 weeks? Hehe.
