May Days

We’re May’d out! We didn’t waste a minute of it, that’s for sure.

This was a totally spontaneous frolic amongst the bluebonnets while swinging by to see Daddy scrimmage. Compare with the epic hands-in-air-get-me-outta-here pose from Ennis two years ago. Tried to get him to re-create it. :)

LE
He’s matured. Just a tad.

Earth Day at Fair Park made for an awesome day of exploration — so many booths and tons of great information.

The Lego station was a looooooong stop for this builder.

Final product w/ some help from Daddy.

E willingly chose applesauce over a cupcake (of the BBQ bacon order). Mama has taught him well.

LE

Daddy got chosen to ref for the AUDL as Dallas’ first pro ult frisbee team, The Roughnecks, start playing. We’ve been hanging out on the sidelines for some games and E’s making friends, as usual.

Just a taste of our upcoming stay on the beach…

Scoping out the ‘nastics (as he calls it) scene.

LE
Getting back in the water.

Found out our much yearned for place for hot grass jelly and tofu pudding finally found a new location to re-open. Made for a perfect Mother’s Day visit.

LE
Then we meet up with the fam at the new WF. (Though, not our first visit, hehe). They have an awesome kid-friendly upper eating area — not too crowded and ample space for horsing around.

LE

Then we surprised Daddy with an early birthday cake!

LE

On his actual b-day, we got him chili crab and some other Singaporean eats. And of course, since it has become tradition…

LE
Snapped a quick one before digging in. Compare years one, two, and three!
