That’s a Wrap
Some moments before and after our trip, heading into the holiday season.
There’ve been quite a few new parks in our ‘hood recently… This one was first responder themed.
Festival at the Switchyard — less rides this year but the same games.
“Won” a goldfish.
First Santa visit of ’17 — fiddling w/ E’s fidget spinner. ;P
Spinner withdrawal? :)
Back in business, lol.
Went to a short live nativity play in a barn.
And a few holiday markets and such.
Back to the Star Wars store…
To meet Vaderclaus! It was surprising how long the line was. Good thing we got there early.
Mommy’s aunt and uncle from HK were in town so we took them to Legacy West and the new food hall. Crowded! It reminded us of Ponce City Market in Atlanta.
It’s not everyday you get to brush a purple dinosaur’s (non-Barney) teeth.
Back to a more traditional Santa. :)
Shooting the non-Santa one.
A really well-done gingerbread city of Big D.
Fell in love with the game of Jenga.
He got a “Happy Birthday, Jesus” party hat and started wearing it all the time.
Frolicked in the festive Watters Creek one mild December evening.
Then to Blue House Too gallery for crafting + treats. The new art installations including Swarovski guitars were quite becoming.
A brief adoption by the Wu family. :)
All.of.the.sweets on Christmas Eve at grandparents’ (after hot pot and steak, at least).
Might just be their last one in the states, wah. :*(
And possibly ours in TX?
Haul highlights. :)
Guess it’s become tradition:
We rounded out the rest of the year meeting up with friends in town, cleaning up the house and just enjoying some downtime.
Ready for 2018!
