Quick beach stroll before tennis class…

As in life, there is also beauty in the gray and cloudy.

Our community clubhouse and gym is now open so walked over to check it out. Pool is still in the works.

E & neighbor attempted working out. :D

The clubhouse can be rented for private parties and events. And they have a few conference rooms for meetings/work.

Appreciated the modern, laid back vibe.

Some serious card trading on the outdoor electrical box “table”, haha.

And then this boy turned TEN!!! We kept it SUPER simple this year as too much was going on the last few months. He requested ice cream instead of cake {again!} and made do with this fragrance candle.

And of course, a new Lego set. :)

And some fun Pocky-ish snacks. Turned out to be a weekend of some of his fave eats. It’s hard to believe we are in the digital digits with our only begotten. :D Happy 10th, Elias! Keep smiling and shining bright! The pre-teen/teen years loom ahead but as always, one day at a time. We’ll get there when we get there.

The school reached their fundraising goals so here they are prepping to color bomb the principal and coach. You can’t tell from the photo but E has been struggling with this rash around his lips for MONTHS. We tried pretty much every kind of ointment, went to several doctors/dermatologists… he finally went on an antibiotic but unfortunately that one made his eyes swell up where he could barely see. Yet he didn’t want to come home and begged to stay for the color bombing.
