Rocktober

Mommy’s race last month at the Arboretum invited us back to visit! It was perfect as last time we barely walked through the Main Garden and the nationally acclaimed Pumpkin Village is not to be missed. 75,000 pumpkins, gourds and squash and 150,000 fall-blooming flowers!

We stopped by the White Rock Local Market which is just across the street. Oh, how he savors his once-in-awhile treats! :)

Mommy and Son took a fun little trip downtown via DART (“train”) to a venue Uncle Dan was helping out with. We got there faster than he did fighting traffic in a car so we strolled Thanksgiving Square which turned out to be a contemplative urban oasis with expressions of gratitude throughout the garden, park and outdoor chapel. So glad we stumbled upon it!

We helped put together hundreds of paper lanterns for a night market event happening the next day. E was more of a cheerleader. ;P Then we hopped on the DART to try to get back to our car before dark.
