We got a membership to Perot Museum of Nature & Science and are making the most of it with several visits already. Both parents and son take away something new each time.

The above was not the work of our hands but it was neat seeing this exhibition on Building Toys and Toy Buildings at the Dallas Center for Architecture. They did have a “Construction Zone” where E got to tinker with blocks, Legos and some other toys. No surprise, it was rough prying him away. He reluctantly joined us in strolling over to Serj Books & Local Food, a cafe not too far away that caught our eye.

On a long weekend, we checked out the Bishop Arts District — a quaint, independent neighborhood near Oak Cliff.

We browsed, walked, sipped/read (The Wild Detectives), ate (Dallas Grilled Cheese Co.), chocolate-d (Dude, Sweet Chocolate) and brought home pie (Emporium Pies). PS: No idea why pie warrants angry face. :D

Ah-Gong, Ah-Ma and Auntie Glo came back from TW after a loooong 3-month trip. AND, Uncle Jong and new wifey are coming into town. Looking forward to meeting her and lotsa family time…
