Living Hope
How great the chasm that lay between us
How high the mountain I could not climb
In desperation, I turned to heaven
And spoke Your name into the night
Then through the darkness, Your loving-kindness
Tore through the shadows of my soul
The work is finished, the end is written
Jesus Christ, my living hope
Who could imagine so great a mercy?
What heart could fathom such boundless grace?
The God of ages stepped down from glory
To wear my sin and bear my shame
The cross has spoken, I am forgiven
The King of kings calls me His own
Beautiful Savior, I’m Yours forever
Jesus Christ, my living hope
Then came the morning that sealed the promise
Your buried body began to breathe
Out of the silence, the Roaring Lion
Declared the grave has no claim on me
Jesus, Yours is the victory, whoa!
Hallelujah, praise the One who set me free
Hallelujah, death has lost its grip on me
You have broken every chain
There’s salvation in Your name
Jesus Christ, my living hope
Blessed and humbled by Easter service this year at the church God has lead us to in the last few months… The authenticity, rawness and Christ-centeredness shines through and we’re excited how the Lord will move and use us in this family, city and beyond.
Our church didn’t have an egg hunt but we found a tame one @ another local church. No tramplings here.
Exploring some more trails near us.
The sound of flowing water is quite invigorating.
Our lakes — Mommy’s been running this route quite a bit but E had actually not played in their multiple playgrounds yet.
Socializing as always. :)
We are enamored w/ all the unique coffee/tea shops. We met Uncle Alden, who Daddy has not seen in decades, at this cafe. He was in town for a rowing competition.
Neighborhood party for the grand opening of the clubhouse. Great sense of community and nice folks we’re getting to know living ’round us. :)
OMG, grilled cheese stuffed w/ mac n’ cheese?
The space turned out quite nice with the pool/spa, grills/bbq pits, small gym and meeting room inside.
