Haha, thinking back to our SB trip when he waited like forever for a butterfly to approach him.

VERY friendly butterflies, lovely florals and beautiful set-up at a Summer in Bloom event (along with a handmade market with local creators) in an outdoor plaza up north.

How much longer will he pose with mama in front of girlie backdrops? ;-)

Outgrowing play structures?

Had the Liu’s over for dinner + fireworks show across the street for July 4th.

The spread… several places that we had planned on ordering from were surprisingly closed for the holiday (say what, so un-Chinese?) so we scrambled and thankfully found a couple of restos last minute.

They enjoyed being so close but boy was it loud!

Their parents + younger #3 (w/ headphones on) and daddy stayed further behind.

The finale is always the best but deafening.

Making the most of summer break w/ camps and fun in between…
