Mayday, mayday, we all got sick in May on Mother’s Day and Daddy’s b-day.

Didn’t renew Legoland membership as we thought he might be growing out of it so we decided to try membership @ the SD Zoo, which included the Safari Park. We hadn’t been to the Safari Park so we wanted to check it off.

They’re off to Texas for a few weeks but will be back in SD afterwards.

Fam in TW has been going to Puli a lot recently so sent them this and their comment was “Why is it so expensive?” Haha.

Overnighted in Lone Pine to break up the drive… and finished our takeout for dinner.

Then rolled into our nice loft for the week!

Daddy’s boot edge split and now Mommy’s bottom tread fell off. Our gear is getting old… as are we. ;-P

Daddy had limited vacay due to the new gig so it was Mommy and son boarding for a few days + some intermediate coaching for E. At least Y’s able to work remotely… digital nomad life.

Not enough snow to ski in/out so it was a bit of a workout to walk to/from the closest lift (w/ some scrambling involved… w/ a board… in altitude, lol).

Coach Dusty was awesome! The other kiddo was also from SD and they got along well.

Mommy had a few days of solo riding.

And then he tried the cornice! Made it down w/ turns… Atta boy. :))

After E’s lessons, it was more snowboarding w/ Mommy.

Some days Daddy logged off early and joined us for a few runs.

And then he started to really like the cornice and went down it again… and again!
