Went to this really nice playground up north several Sundays in a row as Daddy practiced with the Grand Masters ult team before they went to nationals. He was asked to join them but didn’t feel like traveling for it this year… Maybe 2020?

We did a variety of summer camps… This one was Lego Robotics which he really enjoyed.

We got tix to the Children’s Discovery Museum as part of summer reading so we made it a play date w/ BFF. :)

John came over and they tamed a unicorn. :D But seriously, it took them a looooong time to get on (and stay on!) this beast.
It was also HOURS at the pool.

That’s a living blue lizard, wearing a diamond necklace. :-P Randomly went into a nearby army/surplus store while running errands and this is one of the employee’s. He gives him a bath everyday and moisturizes his skin with lotion. E is now asking for one for his next b-day. :))

For some reason we get all sentimental whenever we pass by this fountain… We’ve stared at it feeling sad when we had to leave SD while on vacay, not really ever thinking we can now come here all the time! And we do.
Had a bit of time so they wanted to head to the Fleet, too. :) Their new Pause|Play (No Adulting Allowed!) exhibit is plenty fun! You’re supposed to shoot these hoops with distortion glasses which makes for a new challenge.

We went to Mass Creativity Day @ the New Children’s Museum. We hadn’t actually ever been to this museum despite living in downtown last summer. MASS crowded, it was. But we enjoyed checking out the place.

The Sketch Aquarium is such an engaging, immersive digital experience! You design/draw a sea creature, scan it and then you are able to interact with it (along w/ other people’s creatures) on an underwater wall projection. This was a hit for all 3 of us!
Summer screams… you know what! Got tix to SD’s first Scoop ice cream festival. OMG, the LINES!

Auntie Shirley’s fam was in town for a visit. School was still in session for us but it was great to see the girls over the weekend. Kiddos got just a tad wet in the splash pad @ Waterfront Park. Just a tad. ;-)

Met up w/ the Tan’s again on Sunday after church in Legoland. The water park was open! Our first time there as it was always closed when we went.

We missed the memo AGAIN on another award — for efficiency. And he and Daddy happened to be late that day so we also didn’t make the group photo. Cheesy Photoshopp’d image to remember. E was a bit bummed to not be there live, though, as John also got the same award.
