Egging On

LE
A giant egg at the city’s eggcellent adventure event. Unfortunately, they pretty much ran out of eggs at all the other booths!

LE
Played a few games and met up with some friends…

LE

LE

LE
We didn’t wait in line for the photo WITH the bunny so he got the throne all to himself. :D

LE

LE

LE

LE
Probably the tamest egg hunt we’ve been to date — at his school (also a church). We’re sticking to the low profile ones from now on, haha.

LE

LE
And very well the most eggs he’s collected at a hunt. And yes, we are those parents that do not get occasion themed containers like Easter baskets or Halloween buckets… Reusable Lulu bag, FTW!

Some other randoms…

LE
Made a different WeDo creation — a monkey!

LE
Thanks for the Darth Vader PJ’s, Auntie Loyce. Daddy fashioned a mask to go w/ it. :)

LE
Now we’re tree climbing, too! (Blending in as well ;P),

LE
Big buddy Joseph and the Critterman.

LE
A good number of animals were introduced with lively commentary.

LE
The token bunny was brought out last for Easter weekend. :)

LE
The new Cowboys’ facility, The Star, had a grand opening over Easter so we checked it. Daddy brought a frisbee on the sacred football field which garnered some odd stares. ;P

LE

LE
We walked around the entertainment district and peaked in all the new eateries.

LE
And this one couldn’t resist some ice cream.

LE
I.C. AND donuts???? That’s a first.

In Living Color

We got invited to the Media Preview Day for the new Crayola Experience in Plano for a sneak peak into the much anticipated attraction a day before their grand opening.

LE

LE

LE
The Adventure Lab was a little tougher for this younger one but the space was neat.

LE

LE
Stomp and Play.

LE
Painting with melted wax.

LE
There were several interactive stations where you could color and bring your sheet to a computer and have it sort of come to life on the screen.

LE

LE
We got a token for some of their Modeling Magic.

LE
Molded a foot and a bear. :)

LE
Silly selfies!

LE
Made several of our own coloring pages in the photobooth.

LE

LE
Catching some melting *digital* wax.

LE
Can’t climb up a huge crayon anywhere else, right?

LE
They dance with ya.

LE
We created a ring and a car out of crayon wax at the Melt & Mold.

LE

LE
A colossal caddy of thousands of crayons!

LE
Printed our own crayon label.

LE

LE

LE
Vintage!

LE
Mommy appreciated all.the.colors!

LE
You can pretty much buy any crayon color imaginable in the store.

LE
And sweets to match.

LE
It was especially nice without having to fight any crowds. Thanks for a fun experience, Crayola!

A Spring in Our Step

Spring Break was a trip of multiple agendas and being split up part of the time. So, we’ll share just photos (sans words) from different perspectives. :)

It’s back to TX skies and ’tis about that time when we need to start worrying about the pollen count. ;D
