Ong-goings

High Five

Guess how old this one turned???

LE
He requested tie fighter cupcakes for his b-day and the baker made him 24 small ones!

LE

LE
Celebrated with Ah-Gong and Ah-Ma and Auntie Glo before their big move.

LE
Loved the singing Batman card from them.

LE
And then had a little party at school with classmates and friends.

LE
Saying goodbye… It was a sad day. You can tell by looking at E’s face he was a bit distraught and was pretty quiet the rest of the day.

LE
Their whole lives packed up in these suitcases. Farewell to the home Mommy spent adolescence in and got proposed to. Memories, so many memories. Bittersweet…

Some other snapshots from the month:

LE

LE

This song has been on repeat the last few weeks:

The Lord our God is ever faithful
Never changing through the ages
From this darkness
You will lead us
And forever we will say
You’re the Lord our God

Promise maker, promise keeper
You finish what You begin
Our provision through the desert
You see it through ‘til the end
You see it through ‘til the end

I Believe

In the silence, in the waiting
Still we can know You are good
All Your plans are for Your glory
Yes, we can know You are good
Yes, we can know You are good

We won’t move without You
We won’t move without You
You’re the light of all
And all that we need

And we are off to the West Coast again. Mommy’s got some things to take care of in TW so Daddy and E will be dropping her off, visiting Y’s uncle and snowboarding in the San Bernardino mountains and then we’ll reconvene again for a few days of hopefully R&R. :)

LE
<3 National Froyo Day. :D It was still a go even on a frigid, rainy day. Ate in the car with the heat blasting, haha.

LE
<3 Daddy. So we created many etched guitars for his V-Day card.

LE
<3 Uncle Dan. And farewell! This was his last time to see E before who knows when. :( The end of an era — you’re the only one besides us that has been there for every phase of E’s life from Day 1. Thank you for everything! We’ll miss you, wish you all the best and will see you on the East side.

Next up is the second migration of the rest of the Kao’s. :*( But yet looking forward to another adventure and journey for all of us…
