We caught a Texas Legends b-ball game with some complimentary tickets.

E enjoyed everything — bounce house (complete w/ 45 min wait!), stations, games, characters — EXCEPT the game. :D Daddy’s not a basketball spectator either so guess you’re with him on this one!

Last month, we had the privilege of meeting and welcoming the newest member of our family — Pui Yee, Uncle Jong’s wife. (And yes, her name rhymes with Yuee and is the same character in Chinese! Now we joke that Uncle Dan needs to follow in similar suit. Haha).

We took them around the Big D.

… and picked up a kid along the way … hahaha.

A “small” banquet meant a family reunion and doubled as a Chinese New Year celebration. (This was only a portion of the gang). PS: E hearts Uncle Ji!

We snuck away on one of the days E had school for some hiking and covered some unexplored trails down south… Followed by eating through Oak Cliff.

And just like that, it was time to say goodbye. ‘Til next time, Uncle Jong and Auntie Pui Yee!

This boy has been partying hard. :)

We’re officially celebrating a bit later in the month as we’re off to Oregon — Mount Hood and Mount Bachelor, we’re coming for ya (for you know what!) with some hiking, sights, nature and road trippin’ in between. :)
